I honestly can't fathom anyone not giving this restaurant an excellent review. Every suburb has at least one or two mom-and-pop Italian restaurants and they all usually sell the same old tired dishes. Comparis is everything that most local Italian joints wish they were. It's a local restaurant with an identity and menu all its own, without the typical "we furnished this place from a Soprano's yard sale" decor. First off, the food was really good. I ordered Chicken Marsala and it was easily the best Chicken Marsala I've ever had. The salad was great and the bread was simply awesome. It was all I could do to save room for my entree, staring down the always full bread basket. Second, our waiter was a true master of his craft. I've had many dining experiences at high-end restaurants all over the country and my waiter (I believe his name was Dustin; a short bald guy - that's not an insult since I'm short with a receding hairline, haha) was easily one of the best I've ever had. He juggled literally 18 customers at 7 tables at the same time and my glass was never empty. This guy really hustled, dispensed with the small talk, and delivered first class service. I was very impressed. The hostess wasn't anything to write home about and since our alcove of tables was near the door, our waiter even went out of his way to greet new diners and show them to their seats, without missing a beat. He helped my wife with her chair, placed our napkins in our laps, and even squeegeed the crumbs off of our table as we ate. Whatever they're paying this guy, it's not enough. The ambiance of the restaurant is pretty good. It's not Abacus but it's a step above Olive Garden and the like. It would be a great place to go on a date. My wife and I went there after finding them on Groupon and we will definitely be going back. It is very refreshing to see that I can still be surprised by the offerings of a local Italian restaurant.

I have been there a few times for lunch. It is a pretty good choice. Especially when a Groupon is available. Showed up today with my co-workers, and was informed that it would be a 15-20 minute wait when only about 30% of the restaurant was full. I asked the host why there is a wait when there are open tables everywhere and he rather rudely replied that his staff is is at maximum capacity with 6 tables per server. No offer to sit down and wait. This is stupidity in it's purest form. Never going back.
