Hi Martha,Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your experience living at McDermott 55. I am happy to hear that our Service Team is meeting your expectations. I would like to take this time to address some of your concerns. The exterior painting started a couple weeks ago. Since McDermott 55 is less than 4 years of age, there weren’t many big improvements needed. I did however want to highlight some of the subtle changes that have been completed. We added a community garden, exterior window cleaning for all apartments have been completed, renovation of the garage, speed bumps added, swimming pool heaters replaced, and we’ve added more events to the resident calendar. I wasn’t aware of some of the Grandparents inviting their Grandchildren over to swim, but we believe the community amenities are an extension to your apartment. We find that allowing residents to spend quality time with their friends and family helps with the transition of being a homeowner and helps with longevity in good health. Paula the aerobics instructor can be loud during the aerobics class but as you can imagine she needs to ensure the residents can hear her during class. I will ask her to turn the music down a little more. If you still find that the music is too unbearable during her class hour. I can help you find another location within our community such as a view of the canal. You will find that location very peaceful when looking at the birds, turtles, and other reptile life. We always want our residents to feel happy in the location they reside. I always look forward receiving good or bad feedback from our residents. Without the feedback, we are unable to grow and learn.
