    This is the worst rental company ever. They suck at communicating and I have never had to pay 2 bills at once until here. We moved in, in August and I called in September wondering when our first utility bill would come and they told us October which is weird in the first place. Well now they decided to bill us 2 months on one bill with no warning. They have the worst customer service and I can't call them for a few days since its the Friday before Christmas. I have never had an issue with any rental company and utilities before...DO NOT rent from this company. It is horrible I wish I could give them 0 stars

    Sold our home and were moving to a new home in Fort Myers on 10th of October. Our new home ended up in 10F under water after Huracan Ian. We now had only a few days to get out of the house and no were to go. We called byers and begged them to rent back our house from them due to circumstance they agreed to do that but only for 30 days because they would have no place to live after that. In desperation we started looking for a rental that is the only way we would not end up on the street. Found house just outside of Fort Myers that was available signed contract and gave Pathlight deposit and had 30 days to arrange the move hired moving company again and paid them in full. At that point nothing else mattered just as long as my family had a roof over our heads. The evening before our move to the house we rented Pathlight notified us that the house is not available for next day move with no explanation customer service rep had no explanation on her computer either just told us it is not available that is all. We jumped in our car and drove to the house we had rented to see what is wrong and why the house in not available, we got there the house was empty through the windows we can see that it was dirty from previous tenants and no one was there for a long time. Called customer service again and in desperation told them I will clean it if that is the reason, I will do anything to move in and begged them to let me do that because next morning we and our 4 bedroom house furniture will be on the street I have video of it all. The response was the same the property is not available sorry for inconvenience since their customer service has no management it is just an answering service from employers who take calls from their homes all over US and they are trained just to take messages and pass on the messages to the actual company, and you have to waited for someone to get back to you in 5 to 7 days. The next morning our moving truck showed up and started loading by then my husband was calling every storage place imaginable with in 300 mile radiuses since most places were only available outside the area and were in high demand by 3pm he has found a storage 175miles away we paid extra money to the moving company although they had other booking but after crying on my dry way the driver agreed to do it only if my husband and my son will be unloading the truck with him since he had to let the rest of the employees go. We all piled in the car and followed the truck to the storage. It was midnight the truck was unloaded and left. Now we tried finding a motel to stay in and we also have a dog. There was nothing available we were looking for a motel that way we can hide our dog till next morning and we would try to find the nearest shelter for him and find someplace for us to go. Found one room since everything was rented around this area, we were not the only ones that lost their homes. The motel had one room and only for one night we took that room and decided that I would sleep in the car with our dog for the night. The next morning, we headed back to Fort Myers to place our dog in to animal shelter and to get us to a shelter that FIMA set up until we can find a home to rent. It took another 30 days we rented a house for $3,000 per month with another company . Then Pathlight sed our deposit back 30 days later to the house we no longer owned and mail was forwarded to Pathlight house even though we asked them to do direct deposit for our the money they took for the house we rented and had a contract for. The byer was aware of our situation and gave us the ck from pathlight. I notified all other companies not to send anything to us for now but I am sure a lot of it still ended up at that house. At the time I was determent and would take them to court but actual battle began dealing with long lines and paperwork to save or try rebuild and Pathlight became a distant memory until this morning I came across the video I took 8 long moth ego of this shitty company. Stay away from them.

    By far the worst experience we've ever had with a property management company, if they can even call themselves that! They emailed (no phone call, but an email) us two hours before we were to move in (the day of) with our children and pets and a moving company with a semi truck load of furniture to let us know we were not allowed to move in yet due to unfinished repairs they were completing. It only got worse from that point on. A 4500 sq foot home moving in July 1st (which we couldn't move in until the 8th due to their "unfinished repairs") and the air conditioner wasn't working, the sprinkler system had a cracked pipe from the previous tenants so Pathlight caps the pipe instead of repairing it... so no sprinkler system, the washer and dryer didn't work, the water filtration system didn't work and the water stunk-- we bought water for over a year!! they tiled over the switch to the kitchen garbage disposal, the refrigerator would shut off from time to time causing spoiled food, and there were multiple electrical sockets in the house which didn't work. Those are just the main items... and sadly, it took them over a year to come out to fix the water filtrations system after we relentlessly filed complaint after complaint. It was horrible. The electric bill was astronomical from running fans to cool the house and run the dryer multiple times just to dry a load of laundry. They are the absolute worst. Now they think they're going to charge us over $6K on move out for "carpet repairs" which they never did... we found out they ripped the carpet out, put in a hardwood floor and sold the house!! Zero stars wouldn't begin to describe this company. They should be sued, put out of business and charged for racketeering, fraud, and theft. That would be letting them off lightly.
