Front desk is unprofessional. They called me to let me know they weren't able to verify benefits and would need to cancel my son's appointment. I called mt vision insurance who confirmed he had coverage and if the doctor's office could not verify online they can always call to get coverage over the phone. I called the office back to let them know what my insurance company said and per the front desk girl "we can't call the insurance and if we cannot physically view coverage in our system then he cannot be seen". I told her over and over that they CAN call, I work in the medical field as well and KNOW this is possible. She kept cutting me off saying they had to pull it up in their system. As soon as I said to just cancel his appointment, she checked one more time and was "able to verify benefits". We come to our appointment, my shivers because he got cold in the office, it's raining outside, and he sniffles due to allergies and the assistant immediately said "is he sick? Because if he is then we need to reschedule". He sniffled ONE time. We weren't even brought back until 40 minutes past our appointment. While waiting we heard the front desk talking/complaining about patients that had called for appointments. Overall, they need new, nicer staff.
