I bought a vehicle from Tristar that was advertised as "showroom condition". It was anything but. The vehicle was very aesthetically pleasing, but once I purchased the vehicle and got on the road, it was a whole different story. The issues with the vehicle didn't rear their ugly head until I had been on the road for about 30-45 minutes, which is much longer than your standard test drive. All in all, I've spent an additional $2100 to fix issues with a vehicle that was "showroom condition" and that hasn't even fixed all of the problems. I blame this purchase on myself for taking the dealers word and not having the vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic. I live 4 hours away, so I didn't really have anyone I could take it to in the Dallas area. I had to wait to have it checked out until I got home. If you do business with them, be sure to take it to YOUR mechanic. He told me his mechanics said it was in great shape. He's a very nice gentleman, but cover your rear and don't get hosed like I did.
