Farmers Insurance - Britt Starnes

I don't doubt Britt is a great guy. Previous posters probably know him personally. On the phone he is pleasant but .... My previous agent left to start his own agency. My account was given to Britt Starnes. We've never met and really had no reason to. I paid my insurance every month. We purchased a vehicle for my oldest son so we asked Britt for a new quote. I previously had 2 vehicles and homeowners insurance packaged together. Britt's quote was much, much higher than AllState so I set the wheels in motion. I asked Britt on the phone to terminate our insurance policies on July 15th because my new insurance would become active. Long story short, even after following up several times via e-mail and phone calls, he never cancelled my policies. In August, another automatic withdrawal from Farmers! I called Britt and he was very courteous and had the charges reversed but he still hadn't terminated my policies which I thought he had. I get a notice of cancellation if I don't pay from Farmers. So in September, almost 2 months after "cancelling" my policies, and calling Britt, I decided to call Farmers corporate. Fortunately, they took my matter seriously and got things going. Finally, 3 days ago, I finally received a check for my escrow account to transfer to my mortgage company. This is probably going to show up on my credot report as non-payments or whatever. I'm just happy I don't have to rely on Britt Starnes to take care of my insurance needs. I didn't feel like he cared or knew what he was doing.

I have known Britt for several years. No one cares more about his customers than he does. His knowledge of product and getting the proper coverage for his customers is outstanding.

Confident that I have the appropriate coverage at the right price...but best of all, I know I can count on Britt to be there with exceptional customer care and service when I need it !!!

Britt is a great guy. He is always available when insurance items surface. Thanks Britt!
