In response, as President of Pine Ridge Homes, I would like to address the items of concern from Lydia P. First and foremost, Pine Ridge Homes worked very hard to please this buyer. We did, in fact, experience major rains at the time, which delayed final completion of this home. Because of those rainy conditions, we could not complete the yard grading, fence, sprinkler system and landscape package. Without those specific items completed, we could not obtain a final inspection by the City. The buyers were well aware of the rain and muddy conditions and understood the delays at the time. The Contract Of Sale states that weather, rain or otherwise could delay completion of the home, of which the builder has no control. Concerning the final walk-thru items, the buyer made unrealistic demands and threats to myself as well as our sub-contractors, who were there to assist and complete the final walk-thru list, After numerous threats and verbal abuse from the buyers, the sub-contractors refused to go back. At this point in time, most, if not all of the final walk-thru items have been completed. In addition, unrealistic expectations, along with numerous changes and/or add-ons and upgrades can all complicate and cause delays in the building process. Pine Ridge Homes works very hard to please all of our buyers and make building a new home an exciting and pleasant experience.

Signed contract with Pine Ridge Homes, and things went south as soon as they got our non refundable deposit. They delayed closing for 1 month claiming weather, lack of resources, and every other possible excuse, we had to live in the hotel. They have not apologized nor offer any kind of incentive, when our banker called Frank (owner) to discuss the % lock fee, Frank simply said "they don't have to buy this house" and hung up the phone. knowing how much we've put into the house (not just the down payment, but all the upgrades that we've purchased separately and provided to Frank) We had 3 pages long of things that needed to be fixed on the final walk thru, and they were supposed to fix it within 30 days of closing. Few of those things were done, after that owner and his assistant have disappeared - ignoring calls, not returning messages. Spoke to our neighbors, they bought house from Frank 2 years ago, same story, phone calls not returned, looooong chain of emails with promises "yea we'll take care of it" but nothing was done. Overall - horrible experience, definitely will recommend NOT to deal with Pine Ridge Homes.
