If youve ever watched an infomercial, bought the product, been utterly disappointed for falling for something so transparently over promised, and then thought, I wonder if theres something worse go for help at Apex. Let me walk you through the sales pitch. First, youre required to go to the information session (this may have changed or moved to online in the time of COVID-19). On the surface, this is an excellent idea because there are many people that dont have the facts about the causes and effects of hypothyroidism. Once the presentation begins, youll quickly recognize the reference to an infomercial. Regardless of the clunky presentation, youll likely stick with it because youre desperate to find a solution (I was). The next step is the office visit (full of books from the doc and expensive supplements) where you are required to bring your significant other. At this point, your significant other will be recruited to save you and hold you responsible. The doc will encourage spouse peer pressure to keep you on the right path. This is where I finally had enough and departed. There are many, many outstanding nutritionists and dieticians across Dallas that can help you. Dont lose hope and you can find the one that will truly help you.
