Pollo Tropical

We walked in this establishment for lunch today around 12:30. Seldom have I experienced a filter ,dirty, unkempt resturant. We have raton there before I. The evening and it was at least moderately clean. These people don't give a damn. Had a transplant 4 years ago and have to be picky but this place looked love a dorm room after a weekend drink-in. Will NEVER GO BACK.

The chicken is def the star of the show, but it is as expected being their name is chicken tropical! I enjoyed the cilantro lime sauce with fries and chicken. The plantains were just okay. I have had better. Overall I would say an excellent dining experience.

This restaurant was filthy! There was a dead fly on one of the tables, then there were ants under our table piling up on a piece of food. As you approach the fountain drinks and the sauce bar there was a funky smell. Kind of as if they had cleaned with a dirty wet towel. The food was ok. They forgot to give me my chicken which was my main dish. I honestly can deal with bad customer service but cleanliness in a restaurant is a must for me. This specific location needs to step up their game in keeping their restaurant clean.

Here's what happens... I've lived in Miami where the original pollo tropical was a success because of the people who cook the food are original Cubans from the Caribbean. The people at this location are lazy African Americans, and they do NOT know how to cook. They also do not like cleaning.... I'm sick and tired of people being politically correct if it was lazy white people I'd say the same. The food here is atrocious compared to the ones in Florida.
