worst experience ever dealing with an automotive repair place. couldnt figure out what was wrong with my vehicle, kept telling me that they would call me to let me know what i needed to do, had to call back 2 months later, and still no answer! they didnt return my phone calls when i left messages. Unprofessional.

Pros: Best prices in at least a 50 mile radius. I have never gotten a bad attitude from anyone there. A friend had her only vehicle there for an extended stay, and they offered to let her use one of their own cars. They are a family owned business, and they strike me as a bunch of "good old boys." Cons: Don't expect speedy turnaround. They are always swamped. Also, they aren't the best at communicating, so you have to check up on your vehicle frequently to get information.

Dorsett's has done a GREAT job taking care of our family cars. We always call when we need them at the last minute and they always get us in right away!

I had some work done on my 300C there and they were very up front about the pricing and very reasonable and later bought a set of tires. They do great work, very friendly, and now are the only people who work on any of my vehicles. Way to go, Dorsett's Automotive and Tire. Keep up the good work.

This is the WORST automotive place I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I took my car in because the brake light switch needed to be replaced because I had no brake lights. They told me it would cost roughly $60. I brought it in in the AM and heard nothing back all day long. Finally because it was getting close to the end of the day, I decided to call because I knew they were closing soon and I was told that the switch had been replaced but the brake lights were still not coming on. Why they couldn't call me and tell me this and not wait until I called them is beyond me. They said that because the brake lights were still not working that they would need to run a diagnostic test on it which would take 30 minutes or so and then they would get back to me. Never heard back. The next morning I had to call them myself because they still didn't have the courtesy to give me a call and the guy CHAD working at the counter was rude, acted like I was bothering him and said "Look, when we know something I'll give you a call and let you know." I waited a few more hours, even though the diagnostic test ONLY TAKES THIRTY MINUTES, and I called back and told CHAD that I wanted my car back and would take it to a place that actually acts like they want my business. He then put me on hold then came back and said he'd call me back in twenty-thirty minutes. He actually did call back this time and told me that my car was ready to go. The reason the brake lights weren't working is because somehow they had all burnt out. So I was charged $44 for the brake lights to be replaced, which is fair I suppose but I shouldn't have had to pay for diagnostic testing just because someone was too lazy to check and see if the brake lights were any good. It shouldn't have taken me telling them I wanted to take my car elsewhere for them to finally decide to get the work done on it. Also, when I went to drop off my car there were three guys in there. One was Chad, working at the counter and there were two other guys a very large guy and another guy who walked out into the work area and I heard them making derogatory comments about my weight after they were outside. I'm certain they didn't know I could hear them, but I did. It's not only horrible that one of their employees would talk about a customer like that but the fact that the person talking about my weight was extremely overweight himself.. ridiculous. I shouldn't have even left my car with them after that but since the place is right across the street from my home and I didn't feel safe driving without brake lights I decided to leave the car. I will NEVER make the mistake of doing business with them ever again. To sum it up.. horrible customer service, rude and hateful employees. They don't care about your business and act like they don't need it. They made me feel like I was putting them out by paying them to work on my car. I am contemplating contacting an attorney to find out what my options are in regards to the service that was done and the derogatory remarks that were made about me. In the very least, the guy should be fired. WORST.COMPANY.EVER. *Edit: The person who made the derogatory statements is the general manager and family. I guess he doesn't care how he treats people because he feels his job is secure. None of them really care because they are all related.
