The Point

I always try & give this place a chance since they’ve opened. I know the owners & they have always been nice & personable to me, however the wife has been rude to my friends & family before. Anyways, every time i’ve ordered here it has always taken at least an hour to receive my order. Mind you, most of the time, they haven’t been super busy. I order, they don’t tell me the time it'll be ready like most places do, i show up, and then they tell me “oh we just started on your order” an entire HOUR after i placed my order. I also know Im not the only one who has experienced this. People are nice, food is okay, but service is SLOW, turtle like. Chelis Cafe will always be my go to & I recommend Chelis to everyone reading this.

The food is very good and the cashiers/servers are very polite and professional. That being said, it took me 45 minutes to get the menudo I ordered because the kitchen lady gave someone else our order then wouldn’t make another for us and was being super rude and hateful towards her co workers. Make sure you don’t have plans if you want food because you’re going to be there for a hot minute.
