Cottage of Mama Bears

Do NOT take your child to this day care!!! The workers are good but the owner of this day care is a Big NO! She is very unprofessional!! My son was getting bit and when he bit one kid she literally kicked him out!! I had a friend go pick him up and didnt even mention it to Carole and she released him to my friend asked for no ID and told her he wasnt allowed at her day care anymore and she had a replacement for him!! I dont care what anyone says you do not treat a child that way period!!! I do not trust this lady at all!!!!!

Worked there about a 2 months ago, had to leave due to a family death and the director who doesnt even have director certification, Samantha told every worker their that I lied about a family death. On top of that, told personal business to workers that was confidential. The management Carole and Terri Jacobs are VERY crooked. Trying to get a little girl to lie about TERRI JACOBS watching a little girl change clothes. Place needs to be shut down ASAP. !!!!!

Ive been working there for almost a year and a half . And decided to walk out because of the owner doing inappropriate stuff to a child. Was nothing but good to this place. Do not recommend! Love to brain wash the kids to make the parents believe nothing was going on . Yes police report made . Management is nothing but sick heads. The teachers is what kept that place together .

The teachers in this daycare are good, but the owner Carol Jacobs is not even close to what she says she is. My son was terrified by looking at her face. She is a wolf with a sheep custom. My son is a 2 year that has never separated from me, he was forcing himself to vomit so they would call me to pick him up. Well I had to get a drs note because I kept saying he did not have anything besides the emotional separation from me, but she said I needed a note saying he was ok to be at daycare. Well Carol Jacobs called me and said that she had the note but the problem was do to the emotional separation and that she could not keep him anymore like that. Only a bad person would do something so rude. This is just a 2 years old terrified. She is not professional at all and does not know how to address problems with parents. My son cried every time was close to her. With that not been enough when I picked him up after she called me, all his belongings were in top of a desk in the entrance. She is so bad, but when I went to sign him up, she seemed nice and sweet. Dont fall in that. She is not even close to what she says she is. The teachers are great. But unfortunately she is the owner and a bad owner.

Worst Experience Every with Childcare.... My 2 month old was attending Mama Bear's Cottage in Midland, Texas. Key word WAS! One of Her teachers was amazing and i could not complain about a single thing she ever did!! However on a daily basis i would walk into teachers on their phones constantly and on one occasion a teacher was on her phone a child feel out of a bounce... child was not hurt but i would have been prevented. A blanket was in my 2 month old daughters crib, i picked up to my daughter having matted hair because she had laid in spit up so long!Then i realize hey you know it's not fair for you to continue to complain and see nothing getting done. So i decided to put in our two week notice and before i could even do so they had chosen to kick us out due to me "not being happy" My only complaint was supervision and the safety of my child but instead of doing anything "because we have a wait list" (directors words) they will continue to endanger children do to lack of care! My advice pick ANY LITERALLY ANY PLACE ELSE if you are in the midland area!!
