I visited the spa & was scheduled for a lip & chin wax, european signature facial, & a hot stone massage on Saturday. My esthetician was Kim (I think). She must have been either inexperienced or having a bad day, because my facial was a terrible experience. Thank goodness my massage was scheduled afterwards because I was so tense from my facial & waxing. First the cleansing (then rubbing my face so hard with the towel to remove the product that the table I was on was moving), then the exfoliating (then rubbing my face so hard with the towel to remove the product that the table I was on was moving), then the microdermabrasion (then rubbing my face so hard with the towel to remove the product that the table I was on was moving), then she waxed the bottom half of my face with no less than 40- FORTY times- applying the wax & ripping the strips off. The skin on my face was raw & today my baby-smooth skin has rough patches where the raw skin is beginning to heal. My massage on the other hand was one of the most relaxing & wonderful experiences. Jeff is absolutely amazing & I felt incredibly rejuvenated upon leaving & the rest of the day. I would return only to see Jeff. The decor was like a medival sunroom, so not sure what is going on with that. Overall I would rate this place overall a ONE but Jeff rates a 10 1/2.
