Probably one of the crappiest places I’ve ever seen. We sat there for 2 hours seen our waitress 2 times and she screwed up all the drinks both times. Just to find out that our order wasn’t even placed with the kitchen, then to make it better the waitress lies and said it’s being plated as we speak. When in fact it has not even been cooked what a joke will never go back and would give it no stars if I could

Staying at Matagorda Bay Nature Park and ate here in the afternoon for our first time. First, they welcomed our Chihuahua with open arms on their screened in patio and gave her water. The food was all homemade and there were 5 of us. Delicious shrimp, steak finger and hamburger baskets plus friendly and attentive service. We all enjoyed our food and view. Recommend them.

My wife and I have eaten here every time we have come to matagorda to fish. This time was a big disappointment. We arrived around 4:30 was seated promptly greeted by a very friendly waitress but that is when it all went down hill. We noticed the cigarette smoke and loud music started playing. Waitress told us she would ask to have it turned down. It was for a few minutes and was later turned back up. Food arrived in a timely manner. There was only one other table with guest at the time. Presentation was good. We ordered the platters. Way over priced. I can order the same thing in Brenham Texas $5 less. All of our food was tough. Grease must not of been hot enough to fry in. It was ashamed because everything looked great, but it was like chewing on wet leather. Atmosphere seemed to shift more to a beer joint than a restaurant.
