Called this shop to get some input on how to go about selling a grandfather clock located in my mother's' home in The Woodlands who just passed last week. Very rude to deal with and clearly no compassion. Would not every deal with this shop based on this experience, regardless of how good they may be at repairs.

My mom passed away in Dec. The chimes on the grandfather clock didn't work and the clock stopped working as well. Called The Clock shop and he came out the same day, took the components of the clock, said he'd let me know in a few days what the problem was, and when he put it back together I was so excited, especially knowing my mom would be happy that it was done too! Many thanks to Greg, he's a great guy and does exceptional work.

Took an old 31 day clock in for repair. I couldnt keep it running. Greg told me that these types of clocks are difficult because their springs are very large. He said he would thoroughly clean it and that might be enough to get it running. Unfortunately it didnt work- but he didnt charge me for the cleaning. I feel like they did all they could and were honest about it.

I had a broken weight hook and went in to see if they had one in stock or if they could order one for me. The clerk didn't even look at the weight. He just said they don't keep weight hooks in stock and that I would probably have to order a new weight. THIS IS THE CLOCK SHOP ON 1488. The gentleman behind the counter left the shop right after I did. I distinctly remember him saying that I should order a new weight online because it would be cheaper than if he had to order it. I think I must have been keeping him from something more important? This is NOT a fabricated review. I took it to another shop (Classic Clock Shop) where the owner had plenty of hooks in stock and only charged me $25 for 3 hooks AND he put the weight back together for me.

Brought clock back after paying $500 for repairs. Immediate response was warranty is only good for 6 months and it would cost another $4-500 to repair before even knowing what was wrong with it. Took to Classic Clock and he repaired for $50. Do not trust this shop.
