Ms. McCombs,Although we do not show you as the customer, originally the vehicle you are speaking of arrived on a wrecker and would not move. Our initial diagnosis was the axle was out of place and the vehicle was leaking from both axle seals and WE COULD NOT MAKE FURTHER DIAGNOSIS until this issue was repaired and the vehicle made operable. The customer was informed these items would need to be repaired to make vehicle operable to give you a FULL DIAGNOSIS, not completely repair vehicle as you stated above. The owner was quoted a price of $800 to make the axle repair and replace transmission fluid, so we could CONTINUE the diagnosis process. Initial repair was made and we were actually able to save the owner the cost of a new axle, which brought the price down to $576. We then were able to operate the vehicle and make the full diagnosis. We diagnosed an electrical issue and the valve body needed to be replaced at the Mazda dealership. This would save you money verses having us replace the entire transmission, and as always we recommend what is best for our customers. In addition, to assist you, we removed the diagnostic fee of $125, even though you actually received an extensive diagnosis both on the axle issue and the transmission issue. We provided you with quality service and repair. Your above review indicates there might have been some confusion between you and the owner of the vehicle in the full details. We did fix the axle issue, and at a discounted price. We did diagnose the vehicle and waved the diagnostic fee due to the work we performed. We provided excellent customer service and results, which is our standard of quality. We value our customers and our reputation.
