AMP ELECTRIC SERVICE ISSUES I paid $1,024.60 to have two new outdoor LED flood lights installed on my RV Storage Building on Dec. 22nd 2022. Light #1 was placed on the front of the building and light #2 on the rear of the building. A few months later, light #1 stopped working. I called AMP and they sent someone out to trouble shoot the problem. On June 1st, the electrician arrived and indicated to me the problem was probably caused by substandard workmanship on the installation of the new light, leaving bare wires exposed which likely shorted out the photocell on the light. He left and stated if they had the same light at the shop, they would come back later that afternoon and install it and if not in stock, a new one would need to be ordered. Two weeks passed, and I had not heard back from anyone, so I called and spoke to Ashley and explained the situation and she stated to me that if a new light needed to be ordered the person responsible for ordering was out of the country and it would be ordered when he returned. Another two weeks passed so I called Ashley again and she stated she would look into it. She called back later that afternoon and stated they had received the new light but there was no one working in the receiving area, and no one knew it had been received. She sent two electricians out that afternoon to install the new light. Then a few weeks later light #1 again fails to work properly, so again so I called Ashley and I stated to her that I would like to speak to someone regarding my lighting situation and she said she would have someone call me. After one week no one called me so I called Ashley again requesting to speak to someone and she stated everyone is busy on other jobs and someone would call me when available. After two weeks I called Ashley again requesting to speak to someone and again the response was everyone was busy and someone would call me back. After three weeks I called Ashley again with the same request, and the same answer was given. After four weeks I called Ashley again and I stated just please send someone out to repair light #1. She stated that she would send someone out the next week, Friday, Aug 18th to do the work. In the meantime, prior to the individuals arrival to fix light #1, light # 2 also stopped working. Arthur arrives on Friday; Aug. 18th and I inform him that now light #2 is no longer working as well. He proceeds with his trouble shooting of the wiring and light fixtures. He indicates to me that there is power to the fixtures, but the lights are not working and need to be replaced. After some time passed, Arthur was talking with someone on the phone. Authur says he is going to take some pictures and send to his boss, (Joey). Arthur leaves my house and states someone would be in contact with me. I asked to him to please have Joey call me. A little while later that same day, he called me and stated that they would be returning that afternoon to re-do the wiring per Joeys instruction and new lights would be ordered. He spent 3.5 hours redoing the wiring. After he finished, I asked him if it would be another 4 weeks before someone returned with the new lights to finish the job and he stated, No sir, this project will take priority. One week later, August 25, I call Ashley for an update and no information could be provided. Two weeks later Sept 1st, I called at 11am, no answer, voice mail full, cannot leave message. 2pm, I call again, no answer. 2:06pm I received the following text message: Ashley with Amp Electric, sorry I am not able to answer. You may text your service information to this number, or I can give you a call back as soon as I am able! Thank you! My reply to the text was Please call me back. I never received a call back. Three weeks later, Sept 7th, called AMP at 10am, no answer, received the same text message a above.
