Dr. Renee McGough, DDS

I honestly believed this dentist had integrity. My first review showed a kind and caring dentist. Now I realize that it is not about the patrons,but more so about his wallet. He dooped me. And smiled while he did it. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE FOR DENTURES, BIG MISTAKE,AND PAYING UPFRONT GIVES HIM THE RIGHT TO NOT FINISH MY TEETH. BEWARE OF SMILING FACES

I used to love taking my daughter here until she actually needed to have a procedure for fillings. For a five year old to go through her first procedure and not allow a parent to be back with her while she is scared and screaming to the point of hearing her in the waiting room is not ok. I tried speaking with Lou at the office to let me at least sit with her during the procedure so she is not by herself and with no empathy from Lou at all it is a stern no for me to be with my five year old because of COVID. I’m really disappointed in this place.

If only I could give more than five stars! From when my daughter and I first walked in, the level of professionalism and customer service that we received from the staff was amazing. I loved how Dr. Renee McGough took her time, explaining step by step what was needed for my daughter. My daughter (who is two years old) really enjoyed herself! I would recommend any parent who is looking for a GREAT pediatric dentist to Dr. McGough.

After just moving to Longview; our two year old had a spot on a tooth that we were concerned about. She had just had here teeth cleaned one month before we moved. Asked around and was referred to this office. Called and scheduled an appointment and had to wait several weeks to get her seen. Dr. McGough did a max two minute exam and said she was fine. Get a bill from them stating that I owe and additional fee beyond what my insurance paid. They billed $72, Insurance allowed $44 for a two minute exam. WOW! I received a bill for $28 to cover the remaining amount the insurance did not allow. Insurance payment is based on industry standard reimbursement for the billed code. Apparently the $44 they recieved wasn't enough for the long exam time that was performed! This may explain why they have such a lavish office. Beware that these providers are overly expensive for the services provided!!
