RBFCU

I am new to San Antonio and decided to go with RBFCU. This was the worst mistake in choosing a credit union. If you are looking for a financial institution please do not go with RBFCU. I have been on the phone multiple times for hours to get a person. I have tried to go into a branch but it is even worse. It's been 45 days and I have already close my account and went to Navy Federal Credit Union. Save yourself time and go somewhere that provides quality service.

I was charged a $24 fee, because I made a mistake to use my personal debit card instead of my business debit card and they approved to pay for the transaction instead of declining it like, which I would have preferred. I called and spoke to Sarah a supervisor in the member service center, and she clearly understood my minor faux pa yet refused to help me out. I even pleaded with her, and asked that she understand me during these dryer pandemic times. Yet she simply refused. They've lost a customer who holds 6 Bank accounts with them. Including a business checking and savings account. I'm saddened by such a lack of remorse for not only a human being, but one of the only reasons the business of this banking establishment even exists, the customer. Security Service Bank here I come to give you my business. #nice2geekyou *** Update: They ended up calling me today to inform me that they had actually made a mistake because last year I requested to turn off courtesy pay from all my accounts. They refunded me the $24, and apologized. Changed to 5 star rating!!! 🙏🏼

Tried to do a new vehicle loan. Got a text saying someone was going to contact me with the terms. Fast forward 2 days and nothing. I called to try to speak with someone and sat on hold for 30min before I lost my patience and hung up. If you can’t get people to answer the phone, how can I expect you to do a good job managing my money and a loan?
