We had the most amazing experience with Aspen Hospice Services for caring for my Dad as he was declining with his cancer.  Cindy was our hospice nurse, and she truly has a gift in serving others as a hospice nurse.  My Dad looked forward to her visits every time, and added to his comfort as much as she could.  Cindy is THE MOST compassionate, kind, and loving person, and we are tremendously thankful that we had the opportunity to have her help care for my Dad.  Cindy took time to listen to my Dad and cared for him in an utmost honorable manner.  Cindy is very genuine and provided us (my mother, brother, sister and myself) with loving support throughout the entire process as my Dad declined, and even several months after he passed.  She was very responsive when we had questions and with updates.Cindy was great to bring in the other support services (chaplain, social worker, medical equipment, medicine) as we had potential need for them.Aspen Hospice Services manages their business as if every client were their family member.  They made sure that things were done well and with great loving care.Thank you, Aspen and endless gratitude to Cindy!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the assistance I received from Aspen caregivers while my husband was on his end-of-life journey.  They were quick to answer any questions I had and provide any tools, equipment, and supplies I needed to be able to give him the utmost care and comfort.  They not only focused on my husband's needs but also on mine.  They continually asked how I was feeling and even provided a social worker to come minister to my personal needs during this emotionally trying period.  They really went above and beyond to make this terrible situation as smooth and manageable as possible.  I sincerely thank Aspen Home Health and Hospice Care for being my angels when I needed them most.  THANK YOU!!!

Aspen was wonderful to work with when my son's grandfather passed away. The company Medicare contracted was barely even showing up and we had Aspen step in to help us out. They were so helpful and genuine. It was such a fresh breath compared to the other company. Definitely check them out when you're looking at hospice options

Those years of experience left me with an intense distrust of home health agencies in general; I couldnt tolerate the level of disrespect toward patients that I kept seeing. I knew there should be a better solution for our senior citizens and the elderly - they deserved better.Near the end of my service in Elder Advocacy, my last client (and dear friend) Richard needed assistance. I found Aspen Health Care, a home health care provider so wonderfully different that it changed my opinion completely.Under the direction of Joe Giuffreda, Aspen provided home health care that was exceptional. Our Richard was treated with kindness every single day. Everyone at Aspen worked to preserve his dignity and personal self-worth, regardless of that days situation. We never had to worry about his safety or happiness; we knew that Aspen was taking excellent care of him every day. His caregivers never talked down to him; they came up with creative ways to entertain him, and got him out of the house while still keeping him safe.Richards dementia was especially complicated, because he was a brilliant and talented man, an accomplished artist and sculptor, and he knew what was happening. As a result, he could be difficult to deal with, especially for strangers. He was initially very hard on Jordy, who became his favorite caregiver. In fact, only Jordy could get Richard up and out of the house to go to lunch, to the movies, or just for a ride in the car.As Richards health deteriorated, Aspen was there - through hospital visits and through hospice treatment, until Richard passed from this life to the next.Joe, Jordy, and the others at Aspen did a wonderful job, took excellent care of Richard, and made a permanent impression on my heart. Im happy to recommend Aspen to anyone who wants to provide the best care for a loved one. Speaking from my own experience, Ill never use anyone else.
