      About
      Natural Living Food Co-op and Cafe

       Sometime in 2008 a few health food oriented women got together to form their own personal discount buying club as a means of providing healthy, organic foods for themselves and their families.  

      In 2010 Natural Living Store owner Lisa Piper reached out to local organic farmers, gardeners and other local food suppliers in an effort to broaden and establish a strong network of local resources.  By combining the discount buying club, a couple of local organic farms and some skilled organic gardeners the Natural Living Country Store and Food Co-op was established.

      Many folks have participated in aiding the efforts of Natural Living over the years as employees and volunteer workers.  We want to extend a special thanks to all who were and are able to experience the rewards of our hard work and efforts. While we continue to expand the business at the new location with Cafe and Herb Room in beautiful historic League City, Texas we acknowledge the support received from members of our local community. There are too many to list, you know who you are and we thank you!

      image Absolutely amazing food, and incredible vibes. The store was jam packed full of vegan delights, and the turmeric drink might just be the best drink I've ever had. Super friendly staff. I recommend this place to vegans and nonvegetarians alike. You'll love it!

      image Terrible food. I ordered 5 different items in a Togo order from the cafe, so I could bring it home to my family for dinner. Not one thing was good! Everything tasted similar in flavor, and all of our cucumbers and blueberries on both salads were slimy and old. We were too scared to eat the empanadas since it had similar ingredients as the salad so we tossed that and took one bite if the other things 2 thing but were discussed. Im pregnant and have a 1 year old baby. The food was just too risky to eat especially considering that the little we tasted was very unappetizing.

      HI Ellie- I am so sorry you had such a bad experience. This is not normal for our establishment. I really wish you would have discussed this with us as we always look to correct anything that is not up to a customers standards. We understand that the saurkraut on our blueberry cucumber salad can make the blueberries & cucumbers seemed "off" due to the strong flavor of the kraut (It's not for everyone). I'm sorry but we don't serve empanadas and never have so I'm not sure what you are referring to here. We would love the opportunity to make this right with you
