I have had better hispanic food in Northern states (sad to say) This is supposed Latin? Tex/Mex??? The food was barely seasoned! I ordered two different meals and both were just plain. I didnt even eat either meals. Their salsa looked like green food coloring and did not taste like any salsa I have ever had. The drinks were also terrible. I ended up just ordering a bottled beer after trying 4 different mixed drinks, which tasted like watered down soda yikes! I dont mind paying for quality, so in my opinion this is overpriced. I DO NOT recommend unless you just like the ambiance which was cute.

Amazing! Service was spot on, and everything on the menu is terrific! The atmosphere is a perfect decor for a local Laredo restaurant with antler inspired chandeliers. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a good restaurant!

This is one of my favorite Laredo eateries. The best fish and chips hands down. Whether you choose to dine inside or out on the patio, the service and food never disappoint. If you like good food, drink, and atmosphere, El Capataz has to be on your list of go-to's.
