I definitely want to try other things on the menu but that chicago dog is . Best chicago dog I've had in yeeeaaarrrss. Authentic fresh ingredients. The fries are also very good and seasoned. Really respect and appreciate the price of the items as well! Very affordable. This is a diamond in the rough for sure.

Okay, as a native Chicagoan, I know that I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up, but I took the 45 minute drive to DoeBoy's for a taste of home. First of all, my server was awesome. She could light up Wrigley Field with her genuine smile. And the shop is cool, with Chicago sports memorabilia all over the walls. The Gyros (pronounced "yeero" in Chicago and everywhere else)...I unfortunately did not read the entire description. A Chicago gyros comes topped with tomatoes, onions, tzatziki, and occasionally feta cheese. (They put American cheese on gyros? That's almost as blasphemous as ketchup on a hot dog!) I ordered without tomatoes (since onion wasn't on the menu), and got a plate with truly awesome fries. Just the right contrast between the crispy outside and the fluffy inside. I looked at my pita (BTW awesome) and saw some weird, slimy green stuff...OMG. It was high-quality lettuce, but lettuce has no place on a gyros sandwich. I'll do it right next time. (You guys only lost a star because not Chicago, not because you don't rock.)

Its a nice small place. Good food. Peaple are nice aswell. Will surely come again
