ZERO stars! I scheduled an appointment for a primary doctor and the girl on the phone told me that they accepted my insurance card when I gave the number to her. I had to request a permission on my work for my appointment and when I went there they told me that my insurance card doesnt work there and that I have to pay $150 for the appointment. They said that they were calling me and leaving voice messages on my phone telling me that the insurance doesnt cover the service, but thats false! I made an appointment for my husband and my mom also and none of us received any call or voice message! Also, I gave them all our member IDs when I called, and they told me we wouldnt have any problems. Why do you play with peoples time? I have been waiting for this day for a week and you only told me that the insurance card doesnt work WHEN I AM ALREADY THERE!!!

Zero STAR - I recently visited MCKATY for a wellness examination and encountered an issue with my tests. This resulted in charges of almost $90 that were not covered by my insurance because of wrong codes sent at the very first place for Lab testing!! While I understand mistakes can happen, I'm concerned about the impact this error could have on other patients. Despite contacting MCKT's administration, the issue remains unresolved. They refuse to communicate with Lab Testing agency, although Lab stated all tests lacked wellness codes, leading to insurance denial and they can't change any codes which were sent by Doctor. To avoid similar situations, I wanted to share my experience and encourage others to double-check with MCKATY.

I love my Doctor and his assistant but I just don't understand why I'm kept waiting for so long in the lobby. About to find a new physician that values my time as much as they expect me to value theirs.

Top notch medical service, all around. Every staff member is super friendly and organized. Provider is very thorough, truly all about patient care.
