Fake Peter Chang??! Come on man.... Having been to, and a fan, of Peter Chang and his restaurants, I unfortunately had to figure out that this place is totally stealing from Peter Chang! The name, and quite a few of the recipes are stolen right from Peter Chang himself... This place is not owned, run by or even affiliated whatsoever with the Chef Peter Chang (the owners name isn't Peter or Chang, Chang's people said they are not affiliated at all with this place) one look at the menu and it "appears" that Mr. Chang himself is behind the wok in the kitchen, not the case... I went, it was pretty good, not cheap but After I learned this I felt cheated and like I was eaten stolen food, it just didn't feel right and the table side sales job on the menu all circles around their "award winning Peter Chang specialties" - it specifically calls it out in the menu! Their shtick is selling "Peter Chang" I am very disappointed because I love good authentic Chinese and to get excited to only learn we have an establishment that isn't really being honest about who they are is just sad, especially that it is in our community... Feel free to check out the write up in the Houston Press (it says that they couldn't rename the place because the lease was already signed..not that it would have killed your whole angle or anything if you took Peter Chang's name off it right???) Sorry folks, what's right is right and this place ain't....
