I have used Bulldog Contractors for several years. Jeff Keller is an excellent plumber and electrician who runs a good business. He is always on time, reliable, and careful about not tracking in dirt. He provides a detailed estimate before beginning work and lets you know of any complications as they come up. He is good at troubleshooting problems and conscientious about doing things correctly. I highly recommend Bulldog Contractors. I am a 71 year old woman on disability, cancer survivor and on a low fixed income. A gas leak was discovered in the crawl space under my home. I contacted Carl and Jeff with Bulldog Contractors of Jefferson because they were a local company. I agreed to let them look at everything so they could give me an estimate of the job. They said it would cost me $391.00 to check the line for a leak. Fair enough. I expected a receipt with a list of materials used, man hours explained, etc. My mistake to not have thought I needed to ask. Bulldog Contractors only piped a gas line from the meter to my kitchen stove and to my water heater. No pipe to any other gas spigots in my home. Needless to say I have no way heat to my home except for my cook stove. The insulation tacked to the underside of my floor was riped down removing old pipe which was not replaced nor will it be Jeff informed me. They broke the cover to the crawl space and did not fix or replace, just left laying on the ground. For all this construction oh I mean destruction to my home, I was charged and paid them $3,451.00 !!! Yes that's correct $3,451.00. WOW !!! Keep in mind my situation I am in and my income, of which they took my savings. They should really enjoy their year end bonuses of which I paid on this disaster. I only have to say "BUYER BEWARE" of Bulldog Contractors and any of their so called services. THEY ARE TOTAL RIP OFFS !! Next I go to Facebook and the BBB.
