I feel like this place is some kind of "best kept secret" of the Hill Country. The cabins are very comfortable and clean, and the grounds are really nice! There are yard games and play-areas for kids. The best part is their access to the river. It is an excellent section of the Guadalupe that is deep and clear. We enjoyed using their kayaks and canoe to explore it. We went with our college-aged daughter and my mom. All three generations loved it! We are going to strongly keep this in mind for family reunions, as it would be a perfect place for each family to have their own cabin but still be able to hang out together comfortably with things to do. We will absolutely return even if we can't rangle everyone else to join us! Great job to the owners, you have a treasure on your hands and it is apparent you are taking great care of it.

Absolutely wonderful stay on the river. Playground for children, far enough from the river so parents can relax. Super river access. Great birding in the fall. Nearby activities: Centrally located for Kerrville, Criders, Lost Maples. Newly remodeled rooms were fantastic. Other rooms are rustic. Pick your preference.

The cabins are beautifully renovated with new patios mattresses dishes televisions and much more. Our cabin was clean and the new furniture was comfortable. The screened in porch is wonderful for morning coffee or playing a game of rummikub. The grounds are updated and well kept. The private river and docks are amazing with stairs to get in and out of the water. Kayaks a canoe and life jackets make for a fun adventure to the upper rapids. Everything needed in the kitchen is now provided and each cabin has a nice bbq which is a plus. We love this place so very much and look forward to going back. The owner did not request our review in case you are wondering. I suggest going to their website to see pictures of the renovated cabins and grounds. Cabin 12 is very nice
