Jade Palace

Our family has been eating at Jade Palace since 1979. The food is top notch and our absolute favorite. Egg rolls are the best, moo goo gai pan, won ton soup, sweet & sour pork and the BBQ spare ribs is our go to family order. We live in Tomball and make the drive just to have this food.

Dietary restrictions: Some dishes are served with peanuts and not specified on menu. Be sure to ask if peanut allergy. Had to send dish back. Spicy food was nooo where near spicy.

I will preface this review by saying that this restaurant makes the best eggrolls in town. I have yet to be disappointed. I have been to this location since 1994, when I moved to Humble. Usually, I would dine in, but now Im calling to pick up and take out. When the phone is answered, its usually met by an Asian lady who is older and very curt in her responses. There is no sense of friendliness or warmth in her voice. If you ask a question, its usually met with a very sharp response. I wish this restaurant would modernize and allow online ordering to avoid this person altogether. But then you have to pick up your order, and shes usually there and again, no smile, no warmth, nothing. There is a younger Asian woman who does work there that makes up for it. I only hope to see her when I pick up my food, but its rare, or Im just unlucky.

My family has been going here for 20 years, its always a treat. Love this place. It's a hole in the wall. I've been to many other Asian cuisine resturuants, and in terms of Chinese food, no place has better food than jade palace.

I ordered 3 orders of shrimp egg foo young. They need to get the original older cooks that know what the he'll they are doing. What I brought home to my family didnt compare to the original Jade Palace. Jade Palace is ruined forever. Im not a put something in my stomach to take away hungerthe taste and consistency has to be there!
