I purchased an item on 24-Apr-2020 online to pick up from store. today's the 12-May-2020 and it shows on the home Depot app that the store received this product on the 30-Apr-2020 and it still shows that they are getting it ready for pick up. I've made several attempts to call the store, sent emails, no communication. I'm not willing to risk my health or the health, my families health or any other member of the community to come down to the store for an update! absolutely unacceptable. Lowe's next door and other home Depot locations are able to have items ready within a few hours of ordering the products. several other items that I've purchased for pickup at the Copperfield store have taken several days and upwards of 2 hr wait times at the curb side designated are for pickup. Poor customer service

What a nightmare. I paid for $13,000 of cabinets. A mistake was made on the bill and we were over charged $3000 which required me making three additional trips to Home Depot over the next two weeks to fix. I was given an additional discount of $200 for my trouble, which was fair, but the problems did not end there. Home Depot required that their installer come verify the measurements before the order could be submitted. That was OK because my wife and I were still attempting to repair our home from a flood a year ago, and would not be ready for the cabinets for a month or more. We had plenty of time to verify any final changes before actually submitting the order. Then over the next few weeks I received several text messages from the Home Depot telling me that changes were made to my order. I had provided correct measurements for the cabinets, but we had not had the Home Depot installer come to our home to verify the measurements I gave them. (This was required before any order could be placed.) I then got a message telling me the cabinets would be delivered in 5 days. We had not even approved the order yet. I called Woodmark which was making the cabinets for Home Depot and was told they were delivering in 5 days, but were not yet made. I asked them how they could ship or even make them when the order had not been submitted. They could not give me an answer and said to contact Home Depot. Home Depot said the order had not been submitted and was told the installer would contact me with within 3 days, After a week I heard nothing so I called and set up an appointment which would be a week later. The installer came out and verified that my measurements were correct, but because of the style of the cabinets, they required special spacers which had for some reason been left out of the design plans. During this time Houston had been hit by Hurricane Harvey and flooded, and one of the two designers at Home Depot was out, so I understood the delays. I called to check status and was told the cabinets were already ordered, but the manager assured me that any mistakes would be corrected...but then I was told I would need to cancel the order and order it again for the changes to apply. A few hours later I was told that Home Depot would cancel the order and would set up the reorder with the changes. The next day I was Emailed by Home Depot and told I would need to cancel the order myself, but I wanted to be sure so I again I contacted Home Depot and was told the customer order specialist would cancel the order and reorder the cabinets with the corrections. I told her I needed to see the final diagrams before the order was resubmitted. The designer sent me the final diagrams, along with a note stating that THE CABINETS WERE WANTED HAD BEEN DISCONTINUED! I called Woodmark and was told that the cabinets had in fact been discontinued at the end of September. Their customer order specialist said if I had any problems, to contact her. I left her at least 3 messages over the next week, heard nothing. We had now been dealing with order for well over 2 months. On October 6, 2017 I called Woodmark, and was told that Home Depot had cancelled the order. My wife has been very ill since 1990 and all funds went for medical and doctors, so we had waited for 27 years before remodeling our home. My wife has been living with the same old house for all this time and was so excited to have it made new again just the way she liked it. She spent dozens of hours picking out the cabinets and everything to go with them... custom tiles for the kitchen floor and 48 custom cabinets pulls. She picked out the paint for the kitchen and the rest of the house. Earlier tonight she was in tears. If I do not get a resolution by Nov. 1, 2017, I will be forced to consider other options... UPDATE: Months later I finally went high enough in the company that I got a response and was refunded a substantial amount of my purchase. Thanks to Home Depot for finally making things right...at least as good as it can be.
