Fit JP Store

No type of sign that the store doesn’t exist in Houston anymore. A sheet of paper at the door that said they moved out of Houston.

One of three places in Houston to find Gundam kits; the only place in the city to find cute Japanese items, like house items and bento boxes. Edit: The store has remodeled since this review has gone up. They have downsized to about half the size of the original store. They carry many of the same items still, just with limited inventory. I've also noted that they've invested in bringing in more items with popular characters on them (ex. Sizeable Totoro themed section). Edit: the store has since closed!

I'm sad to say that they've closed their doors. It was great while it lasted. Don't worry though! There are other options in town though! Look into Seiwa Market!

Rude store clerk, the clerk will chase you around like you are a theft, also nothing can be touched or the clerk rip the item from your hand. This is the WORST store that I have ever seen.

This store was really great, I loved walking through the aisles and finding things to buy. I'm extremely saddened by the fact that they closed down. There aren't many stores as nice as this one that sells products from Japan at a pretty decent price. the variety of products that were here will definitely be missed by me. I really wanted to go back and buy some stationary and other gadgets. So sad. 😢
