Excellent Urologist. Really know his stuff, spends extra time with you and and answers any question you may have. Very professional Doctor.

I came to see Dr. Hendin for help with an over active bladder problem that I had been dealing with for a very long time. As it turned out he was unable to help me because the problem was in his words beyond the realm of his expertise. Naturally I was upset and started to cry. He in turn asked me why I was crying and that this had been a problem for awhile and "what was the urgency" I was speechless at the time, now I am not. Sir, having the sensation that you are about to give birth 24/7 is a horrible feeling one that I would not wish on my worst enemy. I think you should attempt to be a bit more considerate of your female patients. I personally wouldn't refer anyone to you. I also waited 11/2 hrs to see you which was also ridiculous.

I had a great experience with Dr. Hendin. He is a bit quirky and different from my experiences with other doctors but I still found myself liking his attitude and down to earth nature. He is very upfront and tells it to you plainly. The review from the lady below sounds like an isolated incident and a misunderstanding. Personally I would have been thankful to have had a doctor tell me he was incapable of helping instead of just giving false hope. EIther way, I had a vasectomy done by him and it went well enough. I am a disabled veteran and have been through a lot of trauma, so when Dr Hendin saw I was quite nervous about the procedure he let me know I could be knocked out for it if I needed to. Which I did end up choosing to do. So if you have a fear of needles, cutting, etc, it appears he is willing to work with you in this regard. Good doctor. I do recommend him.
