My girlfriend and I flew from Sacramento to Houston a Christmas day... The flight was fine, however we watched some really discouraging things from your ground crew. We watched as the baggage crew tossed around bags and haphazardly let them fall about the wet tarmac. It became quite the spectacle as other passengers started watching. When a crewman picked up a box with FRAGILE marked quite clearly all over it, everyone gasped and then sighed in unison when the crew member tossed it 15 feet onto bags and watched it roll, again, onto the wet tarmac with a *thunk*. Then we watched as a golf ball fell out of a person's golf bag. It rolled 15' or so until a guy who appeared to be a supervisor picked it up. Put it in his pocket. And walked away. He didn't even look around for a golf bag that it might have fallen from! Everyone kind of expects bag crews to be jerks, but even I was kind of surprised how jaded everyone on the plane was to expect and accept this behavior.
