Sunshine Renewable Solutions

A word of caution before using Sunshine Renewable Solutions. I signed a contract with Sunshine Renewable Solutions in June 2022 to install a 22KW solar system on our house and paid $40K down (half) in good faith that they would install this system. After meeting with about a dozen solar companies, I chose Sunshine Renewable Solutions as my salesperson designed a robust proposal (panel size & placement, backup battery, generator tie-in, and grid connection) and it was fairly priced. Our design was approved by CenterPoint on 11/8/22 and I was e-mailed by their Operations Manager, Michael Adams, on 11/28/22 that we'd get scheduled "ASAP". Initially I was e-mailed it would be installed before Christmas, and when that didnt happen, it was pushed to the 2nd week of January 2023. Finally, after asking a total of 8 times by e-mail for an install date over 2 months (often without any response) they performed a partial install mid-January. The 60x installed panels (URECO F6M365E7G-BB) were not what was spec'd (Aptos DNA-120-MF26-365W) and I was not consulted about the change. They have yet to wire any of the panels to the 2x Sol Ark 15K inverters, so I have no solar power production. The battery backup was purchased but not installed. Since the panels were installed mid-January '23 I have continued to ask for a finish date with intermittent responsiveness and still no date commitment. An electrician stopped by last week to inspect the existing install and said they'd be back Tuesday / Wednesday to finish up, but they never arrived, called, or responded to my texting them. At this point I'm not certain why we cannot get this installation done, even after trying to escalate the issue to Adam Minder (CIO). I'd consider my above experience before signing on with Sunshine Renewable Solutions. A great design and price, but terrible execution. - Mike Buckles

Sunshine is excellent. I bought solar from another company years ago that went out of business. I contacted several dozens of installers but nobody would help me get my system running again. Until I was connected with Cody at Sunshine. They came out same week and got my system running again for a great price!

Install was done very quickly. Really happy with the work done on site. You can tell these guys are true professionals. High quality install, materials and great price! Dont mess with the rest, get the best with SRS!
