I highly recommend Liz! Recently, we organized my craft/kids art closet. We did it virtually, to practice social distancing. At first I was unsure of what a virtual organizing session would look like. Liz came prepared with questions, and ideas. She was really able to create a space that was functional for me. I had tried organizing the closet prior, and it got messy almost the next day. It just didn’t work how I needed it, and Liz was able to adjust her plan to cater to me. I’m thankful that she kept me on topic and focused—we got a lot done in an hour!

I have had trouble my whole life with keeping things neat and clean. I had almost given up hope when I hired Liz. I wasn't sure initially how much she could help, but had nothing left to lose. I was wonderfully surprised at the actual experience of having a professional organizer! She not only helped me clear the mess, and organize my space, but she also helped me set up systems to help me keep things neat and clean! It was an amazing experience, and I am so glad I did it. She was able to look at things in ways I hadn't considered and present me with new and better ideas for how my space should work. I highly recommend serenity organizing to anyone who has ongoing, or even short term difficulties with organizing!

When anyone comes into my apartment, I worry about what they must think about the disarray and clutter, and even me. When Liz recently visited to help me get a handle on the situation, though, I quickly felt at ease by her calm, kind and accepting demeanor. She spent a few hours suggesting solutions to my pile problem - piles of shoes, piles of books, piles of files and mail, piles of piles - and then was right there to help put the ideas into action. Her natural ability is not just in making sense of disorganized spaces, but in making them more accessible and livable so you can attain a more comfortable everyday existence. I have a tendency to collect "stuff" and the clutter can be overwhelming. Something goes missing and it is so stressful trying to recover it, especially when I'm pressed for time. So, although I have occasional cleaning fits, I have resigned myself to being a messy person and hoped to improve with age, or more space, or more money. Liz asked insightful questions about what I'd like to accomplish with the space I have. She seemed genuinely interested in working with my specific needs and budgetary concerns - it's not about coming in and imposing her vision. I loved that! There were no orders but comments on how she has personally dealt with similar challenges and found such-and-such to be really helpful. As a result, Liz comes across as reassuring and relatable. During our meeting, Liz offered constructive, simple and easily-achievable remedies to my organizational shortcomings. I am generally put off by projects that seem too extensive and time-consuming, but her solutions were goal-oriented and totally manageable. Specifically, she helped me with my shoe chaos, my excessive book collection that was spread out everywhere, my pet supply shelves, my under-sink cupboard, my junk drawer, and my counter-top and entryway mail/stuff piles. We did it all in just a few hours! Normally, I would stop and go, turn on Netflix, eat, go shopping, or just give up, so this was a big achievement. Her outside observations were super beneficial and I was able to see that I can take small, affordable and creative steps that make a big difference in building a more functional and amiable living environment. On top of that, Liz was really great with my pets - as a fellow pet parent, she understood the importance of integrating them and their stuff into the experience! That meant a lot to me and Fiona. Liz will help you restore order to your home and equip you with skills and confidence to maintain it. I highly recommend her!

I am beyond grateful to Liz for her invaluable help in sorting through chaos to achieve organization and accessibility to things I had long forgotten I even had! At first I was embarrassed to send pictures of the mess I let build up in certain rooms, but Liz helped me get passed that through her non-judgmental, humorous and non-pressured ways. She brought creative and resourceful tips for re-designing the limited space I have. I can't wait for our next time to tackle even more! The process was cleansing and ultimately I feel so much more energized. She is a delight to work with and I recommend her to anyone without reservation!

I have been putting off organizing my closet since we moved in to our home two years ago. The large volume of clothing and doubts about my style that I had were both intimidating enough to help me procrastinate endlessly. Until Liz offered to help! I didn't know how badly I needed help until the progress we made was behind us. Liz was able to take a large and overwhelming task and break it into smaller, more manageable parts. She did all of the heavy lifting and guided me through the process with ease, encouragement, and praise. I really could not have made any progress without her. She is dependable, thoughtful, and creative. I highly recommend her and hope for others to experience the same life-changing results that Liz produced in my life. My closet sparks so much joy, and picking out clothes is now fun. A new energy has been sparked in me that will carry me through the rest of our home's cluttered spaces. Thank you, Liz!
