Everything here was exceptional from the staff to drinks and food. The wine selection is amazing and the food was just perfect. We loved everything about it!

I came here last night for my birthday dinner with 4 of my closest friends. I had never been here before but found the good reviews and figured we should try, so I made reservations early in the week. I should’ve known that this maybe wasn’t the best place for a group of 20 somethings when all I saw entering the restaurant were people 65+, but I ignored my better judgement and went ahead anyways. It started off bad from the drink orders...my 2 friends each ordered a glass of wine each and our waiter “jeremias†asked if they wanted a bottle, they said no just a glass was fine. My other friend ordered a glass of rose and he asked if I wanted one as well, I said I would take a sip of hers when it came and then decide. He brought out our drinks after quite some time and had a glass of rose for me and a whole bottle for my friends...3 out of the 5 of us are current or former servers so we knew from this moment on it wasn’t going to go well. I brought notice of the bottle to my friends but they blew it off and said it was fine, I did the same with my glass of rose. Meanwhile, the host came over in the middle of that to ask if he could take our extra chair since it looked like our reservation was only going to be 5 instead of 6...I never made a reservation for 6 so I don’t know what he was talking about but just ask if you could take the chair...there’s no need to go on about a reservation number. Finally, we place our entree order and it took 30 mins for our simple pasta dishes to come out. The place was not packed by any means so I don’t really understand how fresh pasta takes that long to prepare. I had the Parmesan risotto which was bland and lifeless but since it had taken so long to come out in the first place, I didn’t mention it. My one friend order a seafood pasta but asked if she could do chicken instead, as she doesn’t eat seafood, and “jeremias†told her that would be no problem. When her dish came out there was no chicken so of course she questioned it and he proceed to tell her they had no chicken available. Why was that not told to her when she was ordering? Why did she find that out when her actual meal was brought out to her? He “fixed it†by bringing her a side of shrimp...for someone who doesn’t eat seafood? Great The 3 other girls enjoyed their meals and I even ended up eating some of theirs since mine was so bad. All of our water glasses were dry multiple times throughout the meal and were only filled once AFTER I requested my water. He did bring a birthday dessert by when I wasn’t there so my friends sang happy birthday to the wall, so that was fun. He also put that dessert in a box ToGo with ice cream on top? How is that supposed to travel well in 120 degree weather?? The checks were brought out and were finally picked up after 20 mins of sitting on the table, ready. When they were brought back “jeremias†didn’t even bother to find out whose card was whose and hand them back...he threw them on the table in one big pile and walked off...no thank you, no enjoy your night, NOTHING! Truly I have no idea how this restaurant has such good ratings...while some of the food might be good, it’s not worth it at all if that’s the kind of service y’all are going to handing out! Beyond disappointed and will never be returning!
