In the early 2000's, simply having a website meant you had a leg up on the competition. Thus, me making my own website served me and my small business well; for a while.
Enter the dawn of the smartphone era and the use of handheld devices.
This transition--consuming content in the palm of one's hand rather than on a desktop--changed everything about operating a small business. It became apparent to me that in order to keep my website relevant into the future, I'd need some assistance beyond simply making the content mobile friendly--thus the need for a website that was desiged with intent; and not just by a mom-and-pop, but by professionals.
Enter, stage left: Mad Meg Creative, [@wearmadmeg].
From our initial review, through the beginnings of the pandemic and along ups and downs that followed-- Megan and her crew utilized their process and creativity to customize an image and a flow unique to me and my business. They were patient as I contemplated options and were understanding as our schedules were impacted weekly and sometimes daily by the blows of the pandemic.
Managing 2020 was exhausting; but for me and my business, Houston Honey Do--through the aid of Mad Meg Creative--the year yielded at least one wonderful outcome.
