Josh has been an amazing Leasing Agent for my home. Within 2 weeks of signing up for Darwin, we had our home leased despite the COVID19 downturn.

Left Renter's Warehouse after a horrible experience with them. Poor management, never picked up their phones. Darwin has been a breathe of fresh air. Fast, timely responses. And their monthly owner statements are easy to read.

This company doesn’t care about renters. I was without a bathroom- was told a week. You cannot make a resident wait for a bathroom to be fixed if there is one bathroom. Another property that was rented received a bid for a sink and dishwasher issue. Darwin said the bid was too high. Working on three weeks of not having an useable kitchen. They cannot seem to care the resident is paying rent. This company is a slumlord. A bid is too high? Seriously, they only have maybe two people doing work. They are not willing to establish working relationships with other maintenance. You rent a home to people- you fix issues. Do not mask a home that is inoperable just to get money. Don’t say a bid is too high and not do anything for weeks. This resident is still waiting. If a manager could and woul lid call me, I will have it out with them. They wouldn’t tolerate the issue if the tables were reversed. THEY NEED TO TAKE CARD OF THEIR RENTERS REGARDLESS OF THE COST OF THE BID. KEEP IN CONTACT WITH THE RENTER.. 48 hours should be a time limit!

First and last management company I’ll ever use. They’ve caused me to completely lose faith in the possibility for this to be done by a multi-property company like this. I had multiple contacts during my time with them from August 2020 - August 2021. They offered to set up utilities on their behalf, which I accepted. Great. They sent estimates for repairs for make ready which I could accept or reject. They would only withdraw for projects I’d approve. Fantastic. Then, crickets. Did these items get corrected? I get a partial refund to my account. What is this? My account manager didn’t even know. Some items didn’t get taken care of that I paid for. Which ones? More recommended repairs. Paid. No evidence that any work was actually completed, apart from a fence that was repaired. I paid them for a paint project. A month later they ask for that payment. Confused, I send a screenshot of my payment. They don’t know why there’s a discrepancy. Turns out they had been paying my utilities with funds I granted for specific repairs without telling me. I approved a recommended paint job that I would have denied, had I had known this. I asked for invoices, they told me they didn’t have them. I had to be a ‘Karen’ to even get those. I still have no idea whether some of these repairs I paid for had been completed. I went ahead and terminated the contract—I couldn’t deal with them anymore. I had someone in the house today who spotted gap issues with some doors that I had been told would be repaired—I had paid $495 for this and apparently nothing came of it. Please avoid this company like the plague!!!

Just signed a lease with Darwin, did a self-show, and signed a lease within 48 hours. I know many property managers have had trouble dealing with COVID, but not Darwin.
