Overall good people’s actually care bout us and our drive unlike foster angels. GCF got me off the streets and now I’m about to take my GED they covered the expenses for the classes and the test. Helped find me a tutor and now my dreams to get into UH and my case manager Erin at GCF is helping me with my admission letter. They not good at responding fast but they get back to me eventually

Ive been receiving support from gcf for 5 months now to help me and my daughter. The people here are as sweet at pie with compassion. The owner Mr. Dave is definitely the tallest and nicest guy I know. He’s always been interactive and supportive to me and the girls I’ve met there a few times. They aren’t as big as the covenant house but they support and respect us

This foundation is a scam. Not registered with the correct tax ID and the “founder†is not who he says he is. Google Davion Sandifer to see who the founder really is. This man claims he is a highly distinguished man when in reality he is a scammer trying to make his way through life, creating a false reality of what he wishes his life was. All positive reviews and photos are stolen from another website. Anything that this man says is not credible. Do not donate anything to him. He is using all funds received for his personal benefit.

UPDATE: Someone keeps hiding this review, but it is 100% accurate. Davion Sandifer is registered as an officer on GCF incorporation paperwork filed through Legal Zoom, and on the Genesis website as their CEO. Anyone with $200 can register as a corporation. Mr. Sandifer frequently publishes photos and videos of himself, but never of valid charitable work occurring. Google him. You will see. A lot. He and Genesis claim to have sponsored multiple events in late 2020 to support foster youth, but the pictures are stolen from other charity sites. Don't believe it? These faked fundraisers were supposedly held in September and October of 2020. Everyone knows 2020 was the year of COVID, and not a single person is wearing a mask at these crowded events. Easy to spot as fake. Search images from the their social media posts on Google Images. You will find the real source for every one of them. Same goes for the images on the other reviews here. One by one, the stolen photos are slowly being deleted online. Why? Because they're fake! Even the photos on these Google reviews are stolen from other charity pages! Each time a negative review is added here, another mysterious 5-star review appears. Why? Because GCF is attempting to hide the truth. The GCF has a rating of F with the Better Business Bureau, and someone has recently posted on the BBB Scam Tracker page about Dave Sandifer Hatch taking money from a job applicant. Hopefully, they have reported the alleged theft to the authorities. Please donate to the vast amount of legitimate charities to help children in your community. Check the IRS website, BBB, or CharityWatch before donating your money. There are so many people in need, especially during these times. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT DONATING TO THIS ORGANIZATION!

Davion Sandifer runs The Genesis Charitable Foundation in Houston, Texas. The GCF has stolen the photos on these reviews, as well as others posted on the GCF website and social media accounts from other legitimate charities. The review photo from Amy Townsend is stolen from a May 2018 post from the Facebook page of ACH Child & Family Services. This photo is of Nathan and Tigi, NOT Amy Townsend. Most of the photos the GCF uses as event photos on other sites are stolen from ACH. The Google review from user Eva Sinclaire is originally from the BCFS Health & Human Services Mask Up campaign in May of 2020. The photo from Lawrence Coudert is stolen from the HAY Center's Hay Day event in August 2018. These should be taken down, as any funds donated could have gone to truly charitable causes to assist those in need.
