    I was referred by my Dr for a bone scan. I spoke with a gentleman for my appointment and arrived on the scheduled day. Upon arrival my orders and paperwork could not be found in the office. After waiting an hour while the lady in the office called the employee we were told we could pay it n full for the procedure because they didn't do insurance precertification they require. After explaining I had driven over an hour, they had my insurance verified, another appointment was made allowing them to pre-certify and locate the orders. Upon driving yet another hour, I arrived at my appointment. They wanted to collect my co-payment in addition to 30% of the procedure. After explaining that I only pay a co-payment (I also called and verified with the insurance co.) and waiting another hour, a gentlemen came into the waiting room which many other patients were in my and said that I needed to pay the co pay and 30%. He had printed out my insurance benefits where it clearly stated I only had to pay a copay, and I pointed that out. He disregarded what the document said and insisted upon the additional 30%, said he was a hospital facility (which he is not) when I pointed it out. The other patients were mortified by this interaction as well as being so unprofessional. I refused the services there due to the above. I walked out. He is definitely ok with insurance fraud! We would not recommend this facility to anyone that's ok with illegal activity. It definitely had me questioning the services provided.

    Appointments dealing with anything medical always turn me into a nervous wreck. Southampton has been an exception. I actually look forward to my visits there. I feel right at home. The young lady that assists me is very kind, professional, and reassuring. Her being patient and attentive definitely relieves my anxiety. Rest assured, you'll be in good hands with the folks at Southampton!

    This is second experience with this provider. Which I did not want and told referring why yet the office is in same building so one hand washes the other! On first visit machine was so loud I even asked if it was working and would it blow up due to the noise. Doctor told me no it is working. The young lady who assisted me was congenial but not friendly. I guess exam was okay and referring provided results to me days later. This time I was left on exam table while he was talking to someone on the phone in broken English and some other language kept talking about "800"? unsure what but I waited for 4-5 minutes as he spoke to whomever called him. Then asked for a blanket as it was cold in from and was told machine will heat you up(OPEN MRI). As scan without contrast wad being done could not hear instructions as volume was lower than sound of machine. When exam was completed he walked into room and told me I could get up no assistance offered and as I started to get up he quickly came to machine and stared lowering exam table so I could touch the floor with my feet. This was unusual office and when I questioned about amount of copay and coinsurance costs the receptionist stated that is what my insurance company provided. So on today in mail is EOB from my insurance company indicating the amount I owe is considerably lower than amount I paid. Not a very good experience overall.
