Things have changed as for as laundromats in the last decade. Credit card machines attached to them. Your quality of drying clothing is based on how many quarters you have instead of time. 0.50 cents use to get you 30 minutes dry time. You lucky if you get 10 minutes. Why do you have to be taken advantage of in small places. I understand they are trying to stay open and keep up with the big wigs... What gets the attention and business is being unique. If your prices are a little less than others, chances are you will make the money and more by staying humble in business to accompany the surrounding neighborhoods. If you (laundry mat) decide to revamp or open another allow the first one to continue to pay for the second one with increase in prices but not outrageously priced where people take their clothes home to finish drying by fan, sun, or air dry unless its by choice. This is my thoughts...
