I stopped in and the light was glaring on the menu. I couldn't see the selections. So I asked the staff to tell me what was good for slimming down. He just pointed to the menu. I said but I can't read it. He wasn't helpful and just stated one or two unintelligible words. So I leaned in and tried to interpret the fuzzy menu. The headings were at least clear for an Island Impact. I asked which ones contain collagen or animal protein. I wanted neither. He just said you have to ask to add those. So I ordered an island impact. While they were making it I noticed another menu that was more clear that showed it had gladiator protein. I asked both staff persons what is gladiator. Answer : contains whey. I asked what is whey. Then the second staff person finally said you have to read the menu ma'am. I said but it's hard to read and I believe you ought to be able to tell me what ingredients I am getting. Reluctantly after a staredown he said it contains milk and egg. When I reminded the first staff person who took my order that I didn't want any animal or collagen he said you have to tell us what you want. I said but I don't know what ingredients to ask for. I already told you I didn't want anything animal based. The second staff person said next time you have to tell us and read the menu..back to square one. THE Menu Was Hard To Read!!!!!!
And what kind of establishment adds milk and egg to smoothies that support lean fit health. They are FULL of fats!!!!!! Arggggggghhhhh!
