I recently had umbilical hernia surgery with Dr. Garza. From the moment I first met him and his team, I was impressed with the knowledge and professionalism. It was the first proper assessment I received after consulting with several surgeons. Although the first couple days were a bit more difficult than advertised, it nevertheless left me wishing I had done it sooner. I am just under two weeks into my recovery and can comfortably say that my expectations have been exceeded. If I could change anything, it would be finding Dr. Garza earlier and not putting this off so long.

Dr. Garza did an outstanding job on my umbilical hernia. Quick and easy with the robot. Highly recommend

Had an umbilical hernia. Consulted 3 surgeons, but I chose Dr. Garza for a number of reasons. First off, his staff was so nice when I called, especially Ivy, who offered suggestions and encouraged me to choose any surgeon I felt comfortable with to have it taken care of. I was also very happy that Dr. Garza did an ultrasound of both the hernia and other possible weak spots, and explained his method very well. The lack of permanent sutures or meshes inside me is also very appealing. It has been 12 days since my surgery and while the first few days were pretty tough, I felt pretty good by day 4 and I was able to go for a long run today. If I don’t update this review, then the repair held up!

I work in the medical field, never thought an actual surgeon would actually stand there like nothing. The staff was very professional, treated us nicely. But once we saw the doctor everything went down hill. He told us that we have to have insurance in order to do the robotic surgery. Umm? No you don’t what about if we want to pay out of our pocket. It was just ridiculous how he was just standing there. We would ask questions. He would just say short words and not explain the pros and cons. NEVER AGAIN! File a report state board. The place is not clean either
