I just checked in and have not really experienced the room yet, however on the way up to my room our elevator doors were stuck. I used the call button twice and it either timed out or was cleared, I then called the front desk twice and they didn't answer. After ten minutes I started yelling for help, while my 11month old was crying and my 8 year old panicking. Another guest heard us yelling and came to help. A housekeeper was walking by and completely ignored our yells for help. Nobody from the hotel came up. I did go down and say something to the front desk. What a way to start our stay.

We booked this hotel for one night, reluctantly I did not read prior reviews until we were on the way. This place looks dingy on the outside and semi decent on the inside. Only a few minor things were outdated not too big of a deal. Pool and amenities are closed due to COVID-19. This was advertised as a “nicer” hotel and I’m here to tell you it’s definitely not. The rooms on either side of us had screaming children (midnight) and the other was throwing a party. I called 3 times down the the front desk to ask them to address this, as far as I’m concerned they did not. We stayed on the 17th floor, the view could be better but it’s okay. They advertise pet friendly but don’t tell you about the $75 non refundable fee until you get to the hotel to check in. The parking lot barely has any light (just like the other reviews say). The cleanliness of the room is great, we’ve had no problems in that aspect. I normally don’t write anything except 5 star reviews because it hurts businesses, but I’m hoping the right people will see this. I will not book here again. I wasted $100 plus for a less than par experience.

Checked in to our first room and I could hear our neighbor's entire conversation. Luckily, our rooms were switched with no problem. Unfortunately, this room also had its flaws. It was warm, so we tried to turn down the AC. The fan kept shutting off after a couple seconds and would not adjust the temperature to our desired setting (65°F on a day when the temp. was about 70°F). We called maintenance, who came in and told us it was cold enough and wouldn't do anything until we kept pressing at the matter. We also mentioned that there was quite a bit of dust coming out of the AC vent and we were told it was insulation (yes, brown, fluffy insulation). Later, we noticed a strange drain above the shower when it started leaking water unprompted. The stream eventually slowed down to a trickle, but its position in the shower caused cold water to drip on us the entire time we bathed. We asked about this and were told that it was an AC condensation drain, which means that unsanitary water from an AC unit dripped on us the entire time we tried to clean ourselves. Breakfast was okay, about as good as you can get for buffet-style. There was a woman working in the restaurant who was just about the only accommodating person our entire trip, but there was also a man working with her who was incredibly rude. I could not find beverages and he told me they were next to the tables, but the coffee dispenser was out of order. He insisted that it was not, but the woman working there informed me there was another dispenser near the front of the restaurant. When I could not find the creamer, she brought it right to my table and put it up for me. I did not get her name, but she was the only kind person there and I do hope she at least gets recognized for that.

I reserved a King Deluxe room. I checked in around 4:30pm and received the room keys. When I was able to go to the room around 9pm, there was a piece of clothing on the bed, trash from making coffee on the desk, and a dirty washcloth on the bathroom counter. I went to the front desk and they offered me a second room. When I went to that room, it was not a King bed. I returned to the front desk and they gave me a third room that was cleaned and had a King bed. Finally settled in, I started to make coffee. As it finished brewing, a small roach crawled out of the water reservoir (I took a picture because it was getting unbelievable). I called the front desk, but nobody answered, so I walked back to the front desk and asked for a new coffee maker. Housekeeping brought one, but when we opened the water reservoir, a used tea bag was in there and the coffee maker was missing the pod holder that holds the coffee pods. Not at all a great start. We used the complimentary bottled water to make the coffee we threw out due to the roach and the lady at the front desk said it was only complimentary when you first check in, so they didn't replace the waters. There were also no sheets/pillow/blanket for the sofa bed. We called the front desk and they said wouldn't bring them to the room, and that we needed to come get them. Overall, not a great experience and I definitely would consider many other brands before booking with Wyndham again.
