If you only need PT and OT they are OK. If you need an aide for a bath/shower, find another company. They only have 1 aide and she SUCKS. She just signs the book that she showed up. My Mother is 93 yrs old with dementia diabetes heart problems etc. She needs more than someone to hand her a washcloth. This b!tch was so LAZY she called to tell me ,"to make sure you have her in the wheelchair before I get there.". I begged them to send someone else, but they refused. This company SUCKS.

I am a nurse. I am sicked at the medical care that Accent Care is providing to its patients. Most patients do not have the luxury of having a family member in the medical field and thus they do not know that they are receiving subpar care. We have been under Accent Care's services for 2 weeks now and we have seen 6 lvn/rns. The only nursing care was a change in PICC line dressing and 1 blood draw (on the same day). The company does not communicate with their nurses and sends them out to do the same assessments and orders that were completed the prior day. I am assuming that this is to charge Medicare multiple times for the same service. We are supposed to have care 1 time a week for blood drawls and a dressing change. So far, they have missed a dressing change and a blood drawl. Avoid this company.

I was approved for at home personal care. Texas Home health approach ed me too utilize their services. I'm entitled to 15.5 hours a week.i was lucky if someone can three days a week. The last two weeks I have had no one come and help me l. They don't communicate whether a person will be the on a certain day or if the provider needs to change their time schedule. 😐
