Do not hire this guy. This guy will lie to u an take your money. An will withdrawal from your case after he has your money. He is very disrespectful to his clients in court. He will not have your child's best interest at heart. If you want a attorney to fight for your child in court. Do not waste your time an money. VERY UNPROFFESSIONAL.

It is with dismay to write this review.. Mr. Helleck is short of professional. He arrives LATE to court hearings. He and his paralegal only contact you for payment. He is biased if he is well acquainted with the opposing side’s lawyer.... His paralegal also happened to be ‘best friends’ with the other opposing lawyer and she asked questions regarding drama ensued by an ex ....that were not appropriate. Please look elsewhere for a lawyer, one who is reliable, honest, and diligent.

This guy (20 years older then my ex) agreed to take on my wife’s case at the time and started an affair with her and eventually moved into my home that I bought and gave to my ex wife for settlement. The Amacus was Eric and they lied to him too. Two weeks after mediation they got married before the judge signed the decree.

I was a client of Helleck Law for a divorce from August 2019 - April 2020. Mr. Helleck is very well versed in the law and how to maximize the strengths and weaknesses of the case. He cuts through the drama to focus the situation in a way that keeps it as simple and stress free as possible. Of course, anyone that has gone through a divorce knows it is unavoidable when children are involved. During mediation Mr. Helleck was very good. I did not settle for less than I deserved in visitation or estate division because of his counsel. When the case went to trial, he objected when necessary and left our witnesses on the sideline (hallway actually because it was a divorce with children and no one was allowed in the courtroom) when he knew it could only hinder the case. When the opposing counsel put in a motion for a new trial, Mr. Helleck easily used the law to get it denied. That motion was tried via ZOOM video conference with the judge, counsel, clients, and court reporter due to the current pandemic. His rates are right near the market price for the Houston area as well, making his services a decent value in a matter that may affect the rest of your life. The outcome for me was very favorable and I would recommend Mr. Helleck for legal representation.
