    I contacted Chandelier Experts by email on February 1st 2021. About a week went by without hearing anything back. I followed up with a phone call, talked to an office person who said Jonathan would need to get back with me to give me a price estimate on the work we needed done. I left my information and also pointed her to my email, which she confirmed on the phone that she had received it. Another week went by - no phone call from Jonathan. After the winter storm craziness ended, I called again - talked to the same person. She said Jonathan would be getting back to me within the hour. Another week went by - no phone call from Jonathan. By this time it was early March - so about a month had gone by since my first contact. I kind of forgot about it as we were busy with family things and then we were leaving on spring break. We got back from spring break and I emailed again on March 26th asking again if someone could get back with me for a cost estimate. David Mejia (I assumed someone related to Jonathan Mejia) responded and said that in order to get a cost estimate we would need to bring the chandeliers into the store. I made an appointment to come by the store on April 2nd and he or Jonathan could take a look. We showed up at the store about 10:30am on 4/2 and were told that David would be in the store by about 11:30. We asked if the store attendant could help us, but he said that David would need to help. We told the attendant that we would be back in an hour when David got to the store. We went to breakfast, then returned to the store about 11:45 to find the store locked, despite the open sign being on. We knocked and called and no answer. So after about two months of wasting my time and trying desperately to reach someone for a cost estimate and without ever having spoken to the elusive Jonathan who never seems to be in the store or available, we are giving up and going to find somewhere else to do the work for us. Must be nice to have so much work that you can ignore customers who are willing to pay!!

    Beware, they overcharge. They do a good job but for the amount they overcharged they could have replaced crystals and did not. They also repainted the color without asking. They estimated the repair would be about $400-500 and then charged me $650.  I then learned of a much cheaper antique lighting place in La Porte where you can buy a restored antique chandelier for less than the repair cost of this store!
