Family Dollar Store#01443 5706 Lockwood Dr Houston, Texas I stopped at this location today to pickup some items for the house. I ended up spending more than I intended totaling $43.14. While shopping inside the store I came across a hair product that had a clarence price on it. I told the cashier the item didn't ring up for the clarance price. He told me that the items rings up for how much it costs and he can not change any prices because that's called stealing. I have no intention or reason of stealing. I just wanted the item for the price that was marked on it. I asked to speak to the manager. He said he was the Assistant Store Manager Chris and he had not authorization to change items prices to accommodate the customers. That's sad only in the poverty area.

Very bad Corporate leaders employees are allowed to cust people out and they don't honor their prices on shelf the employee will claim the price has changed on the item, but the employee won't marked on the shelf the price. I would not buy anything from this store! Or any Family Dollar Store (Very Bad Management) They need to be CLOSED DOWN PLEASE GO OUT OF BUSINESS!!

This manager just put me back out the store and lied and told me he was the only one in the store he had to use the restroom but as he's leaving from behind the cash register the real cashier is coming from the back where the bathroom is going behind the cash register at the same time there is a guy on the floor stop talking at the same time mind you I know he's lying anyway cuz I used to manage this same Family Dollar so I know where we are not supposed to be in the store alone at no times right but he really put me out the store so I would not witness he letting a guy from the street come into the store and still a large box of Luvs diaper and walk out at the same time why the cashier is in front of the store and he's supposably be going to the restroom

Store closes at 10:00pm and its 8:51pm 01/21/22 and the doors are already locked. Explain and make proper adjustments to the hours. The store hours of operation should be on the front door as well. My time is valuable and it matters when I take an exit in a unfamiliar place based off the hours listed on google to discover the store is closed. Fix the issue which Im sure happens frequently. Even if the store closes at 9pm its not even 9pm.
