It’s a pyramid/MLM scam. The job was advertised as a “customer service job” that was “work from home”, but when you show up for the 2-hour long interview, the it turns out that you are going to be selling insurance and “financial advice”? Also, never have I ever had to pay money out of my own pocket to apply for a job (A total of $150)… I was pushed to bring my friends or family members, which was really sketchy. I legit left this place with more questions than I came in with. PS… the biggest red flags were: -You’re not allowed to record anything -You have to turn off your phone -You can’t take home the notes that you took during the interview. -Their company name is not on the directory of the building.

I thought with this job I was gonna land an amazing job. As they asked you to come in business attire I thought to myself i landed something great. Turns out they want you to pay $150 for a background check which I never in my mind had to ever do that !. This company is not to be trusted. I was hoping to have help after leaving after a tragedy to my city. I wish Houston show more support rather than taking things from people.
