Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with my day of coordinator Tina or the Manager Magen. First of all Tina was an hour late making it super stressful for my family (Mom, Dad, and Sister) because they had to get things done that the coordinator had to do, as making sure the flowers, caterer, and DJ were helped and guided to where things needed to be. Magen did get to the venue early to help set up the lights and tables. But their reason behind being late was that they forgot some items and had to return for them. HOW DO YOU FORGET ITEMS WE NEED ON THE DAY OF THE WEDDING? Very poor planning. I would not have minded if someone was there in her place to help but Magen was gone by then.... Okay, Tina finally got there. My Family Pretty much took care of everything. My ceremony fortunately went beautifully. So now, to the reception, first we paid extra for string lights on the ceiling top. Sadly, some string lights were burnt out making it look super tacky. All they can do was turn of all the string lights and guess what we did not get that refund for the mistake they made. They should have checked the lights ahead of time. My sister and mother have both attempted to call and email Magen but nothing. This is after Magen promised to refund us the hour Tina was late and the extra money we paid for the lights. THEN, I specifically asked to run things during the reception a certain way. (Making sure table by table were called to the buffet, the music for the dances and entrance, and all announcements) That did not happen. She communicated poorly with the caterer and DJ. She even assured me beforehand that she would be very aggressive about getting things done a certain way. She gave us the excuse that she told the DJ to announce things for her but he did not listen to her. That is not being aggressive... which caused a huge mess at the buffet... My main table which had my mom, sister, and out of town family members did not get a plate of food. Other family members had to share with them. There were people going for seconds when they were not supposed to, which caused many people to not get food. There was a long line in the middle of the dance floor for food. It was just a mess. What I am most upset about is that Tina had a bitter face the whole night. She was not approachable at all. Most of my vendors noticed she did not have it together. I needed someone positive, responsible, and reliable. As nice as Magen comes off, I would not recommend any one to this company. My sister and Mother have yet to get a response from Magen on the refund for the lights and the hour we did not get from the coordinator. Super unprofessional and immature.
