Sleepy's Po-Boys

Being from New Orleans and have tried many places that offers poboys, none compare or even come close to Sleepy's . I ordered the shrimp poboy combo and everything was fresh. The bread was soft soft and as far as the dressings, they were clean meaning the mayo only touched the bread and lettuce! shrimp were seasoned perfect and fried just how I like them. Service was good and Food came out within 15 minutes due to 5 orders before mine.

Went here yesterday. Went here before about 4 years ago. Ordered 3 shrimp po-boy COMBOS and fish and shrimp platter. Food was taking a long time, they forgot my fries. The side salad is literally the lettuce they put on sandwiches and a half slice of a tomato in a cup! Didn't even get dressing for the "salad." We ordered Kool aid..but you get your own ice then take it back to the counter. Well, while getting ice, the drip tray was DISGUSTING. Looked like old mold and dust that's NEVER been cleaned off, so no telling how nasty the drink faucets are. The guy who took our order was nice but he was talking in the lowest whispering voice EVER!. I had to hold my head down and put my ear under the glass to TRY to make out what he was saying. I went to go get napkins and he was bagging someome order and said their order number (he was facing the wall) and WHISPERED the order number..it was the absolute weirdest thing. So I called the number out loud so the customer would know their order was up. All 4 of us had fries and we got like 5 ketchup packets. My husband asked for hot sauce and got like 20 hot sauce packets! Like what the hell. Kool aid cheap as hell, but they charge $1 for refills...REALLY! SMH. Place just feels icky. They really can put some money into fixing the ceiling and bathroom. We be trying to support BOB but it's like they always do the bare minimum, don't want to keep the building up and have subpar customer service.

Took an hour to get my food because the lady at the register didn't call my name. She lied and said it had just came out when the whole plate was cold.. I get back to work and see that my fish is undercooked

MAN THEY FOOD IS GOOD BUT THESE FOLKS NEVER EVER ANSWER THE PHONE THEY HANG UP ON YOU AND EVERYTHING!!!!! TEAM SERVICE IS TRASHHHHH HORRIBLE!

They have very good and authentic food, the cheesesteak is my personal favorite. Very customer friendly and nice dining area. The wait wasn't long and the food gave a homeful feeling.
